When I first began using watercolors, I applied them in thin swatches over my pen and ink drawing. It was for me, the easiest way to start to learn about this most difficult medium. Gradually after completing all the color wheels and learning about transparent and semi transparent colors, I now have a palette that I am comfortable with. This took many years of trial and error, and though I still love to throw in that line, I have learned manage the darks and lights enough to allow the watercolor to stand alone.
I have completed many commissioned works, mostly house portraits though my subject matter has now expanded to portraits. Please inquire through my Contact Page
